เรื่องย่อครอบครัวด.ญ ของขวัญ เป็นครอบครัวที่มีฐานะปานกลาง อาศัยอยู่ในตัวเมืองเชียงคาน (จังหวัดเลย) ทุกๆเช้าและเย็น นที พ่อของขวัญ จะขี่รถมอเตอร์ไซค์เวสป้าเก่าๆ ไปรับ-ส่ง ของขวัญที่โรงเรียนนทีเช็ดถูดูแลทะนุถนอมรถเวสป้าคันนี้เป็นอย่างดี ด้วยความเป็นเด็กของขวัญจึงถามพ่อว่าทำไมพ่อรักรถคันนี้จัง รักมากกว่าหนูด้วยมั๊ง นทีตอบว่า “พ่อรักหนูมากกว่าสิ่งใด แต่รถคันนี้ก็เป็นรถที่พ่อรักเช่นกัน เพราะคุณปู่ได้มอบให้พ่อตอนพ่อยังเป็นวัยรุ่น พ่อขี่รถคันนี้มาตลอดชีวิตของพ่อ พอถึงวันที่หนูโตขึ้นพ่อก็จะยกรถคันนี้ให้หนูเป็นคนดูแลแทน” กระทั่งวันหนึ่งเกิดเหตุการณ์ที่ทำให้ จันจิรา แม่ของขวัญ เข้าใจ นที ผิดจนเป็นเหตุให้ จันจิรา พา ของขวัญหนีกลับจังหวัดน่านบ้านเกิด วันเวลาผ่านไปนานหลายปี ของขวัญโตเป็นสาวแต่กลับไม่เคยลืมเหตุการณ์ในวัยเด็กวันหนึ่งของขวัญเห็นชายวัยกลางคนขี่เวสป้ามากับลูกสาวตัวเล็กๆ ทำให้ของขวัญคิดถึงพ่อมาก จึงชวน เปรี้ยว เพื่อนรักเดินทางไปที่เชียงคาน แต่กลับได้รับข่าวร้ายว่า นที ผู้เป็นพ่อเสียชีวิตแล้ว ของขวัญเสียใจมาก หลังจากร่วมงานเผาศพพ่อของขวัญนึกถึงภาพในวัยเด็กของตัวเองและคำพูดของพ่อที่เคยบอกว่าจะมอบเวสป้าให้ดูแลต่อจากพ่อในวันที่โตแล้ว ด้วยความรักและคิดถึงพ่อ ของขวัญจึงถามญาติๆว่า เวสป้าของพ่อหายไปไหน ญาติบอกว่า ตอนพ่อป่วยไม่มีเงินรักษา พ่อจึงขายเวสป้าไป ของขวัญพยายามตามหาเวสป้าของพ่อในกลุ่มคนเล่นเวสป้า และเพจต่างๆทุกวันกระทั่งมีอินบ็อกซ์มาตอบเธอว่าเห็นรถคันนี้จอดอยู่ที่หน้าบริษัทแห่งหนึ่ง ของขวัญไปตามหาจนพบรถเวสป้าอยู่กับ อาร์ท ของขวัญขอซื้อรถคืน แต่อาร์ทกลับไม่ยอมขาย ด้วยสัญญาที่ได้รับปากนทีไว้ 2 ข้อ คือขอแรก อาร์ทจะต้องดูแลรถคันนี้เป็นอย่างดีและไม่ขายต่อให้ใคร ข้อที่สองนทีมีความตั้งใจที่จะขับรถเวสป้าคันนี้ไปไหว้พระที่วัดแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดน่านซึ่งเป็นวัดที่นทีกับจันจิราพบรักกันครั้งแรก ไปออกทริปกับอาร์ทและกลุ่มเพื่อนๆ คือ วิทย์ตี๋ แต่ทริปวันแรกก็ไม่สวยซะแล้วเมื่อรถยนต์ของของขวัญเกิดอุบัติเหตุ ของขวัญและเปรี้ยวจำเป็นต้องซ้อนมอเตอร์ไซค์เวสป้าของอาร์ทและวิทย์ไป บนเส้นทางเชียงคานและน่าน ดูหนังไทย
